Trends in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (TPB) fully supports responsible self-archiving practices in accordance with international open-access and scholarly communication standards. As an open-access journal, all published articles are made available immediately under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to archive any version of their manuscript as follows:

1Published Version (Version of Record – VoR)

Authors may deposit the final published version of their article in:

Personal webpages
Institutional or corporate repositories
Disciplinary or subject-based repositories
Academic social networks (where permitted)

This may be done immediately upon publication, without embargo, provided that:

The full citation is included
A link to the Version of Record on the TPB website is provided
The DOI is referenced whenever available

2Accepted Manuscript (AAM)

Authors may archive the peer-reviewed accepted manuscript at any time on personal, institutional, or disciplinary repositories. No embargo period applies.

3Submitted Manuscript (Preprint)

Authors may share the submitted version (preprint) at any time and in any location. Posting preprints does not affect consideration for publication in TPB.

4Abstracts, Metadata, and Citations

Authors may freely reuse and disseminate the article's metadata — including the title, authors' names, affiliations, abstract, and citation information — on any platform, including social media (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs), provided that the citation includes a link to the article on the TPB website or its DOI.
