Abstract
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a prevalent disease globally, affecting people of various genders and ages, with cases ranging from acute to chronic. Consequently, assessing techniques for diagnosing these infections is essential. In this review study, eight different diagnostic techniques for urinary tract infections with their advantages and disadvantages were assessed. Overall, this study showed that nanotechnology, biosensing, and endoscope technology, despite their limitations, are more efficient and accurate in diagnosis compared to other techniques.
